Peak Ski Company and WildRye Distilling Five Drops Bourbon Whiskey
In 1900, the Garnet Mining News touted Five Drops tincture as “The Pleasantest Most Powerful and Effective Never-Failing Tonic” for nearly everything. In a gesture to Montana history, Peak and WildRye have created this limited edition Peak Five Drops Bourbon.
The family behind WildRye has grown sweetcorn in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley for nearly 40 years. This handcrafted bourbon whiskey puts a new twist on the time-honored tradition by using the family’s finest Montana sweetcorn, fresh from the field. Five Drops is mashed with a hint of malted barley using pure Montana water, distilled on custom built equipment, and aged in new American charred oak barrels. The result is an unbelievably smooth and rich Montana bourbon whiskey. This version has the Peak logo on it, making it a conversation starter on your next ski trip or back home around the fire.
